Ingredients:
12 oz Cheese Tortellini
1 lb Thinly Sliced Steak (Ribeye or Flank)
1 Green Bell Pepper, sliced
1 Onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 cup Beef Broth
1 cup Heavy Cream
1 1/2 cups Shredded Provolone Cheese
1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste
Fresh Parsley, chopped (opt
ional for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Tortellini: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini as per the package instructions. Drain and keep aside.
Brown the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet and reserve.
Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
Craft the Provolone Sauce: Reduce the heat to medium. Add beef broth and heavy cream to the skillet, stirring well. Mix in the Worcestershire sauce and let it simmer. Slowly incorporate the provolone cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens and becomes smooth.
Assemble the Dish: Add the cooked steak and tortellini back to the skillet. Toss everything together to ensure the tortellini and steak are well-coated with the provolone sauce.
Finishing Touches: If using, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
