Ham and Cheese Sticks
Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
4 oz sliced ham
4 oz shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
1 egg (for egg wash)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out puff pastry on a flat surface. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard (if using).
Place ham slices and shredded cheese evenly over the pastry.
Cut into strips, then twist each strip a few times.
Beat the egg and brush over the top of each stick.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Serve warm!
