Shrimp and Sausage Pasta ๐ค๐ญ๐
Ingredients:
1 lb penne pasta (or your preferred pasta)
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 smoked sausages, sliced (or Andouille sausage for extra spice)
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil (for sautรฉing)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for a spicy kick)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Pasta:
Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Sausage:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sausage slices and cook until they are browned and slightly crispy. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside.
Step 3: Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil.
Season the shrimp with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
