Ingredients (Serves 2):
For the Steak:
1 ribeye steak (about 1-inch thick)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Eggs:
2 large eggs
1 tbsp butter
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Sausages & Bacon:
4 breakfast sausages
4 slices of bacon
Optional Additions:
½ cup baked beans
1 tomato, halved and grilled
4 mushrooms, sliced and sautéed
2 slices of toast
Preparation:
1. Cook the Steak:
Season the steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium doneness, adjusting for your preference.
Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before serving.
2. Cook the Sausages & Bacon:
In a separate pan over medium heat, cook the sausages, turning occasionally, for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
In the same pan, cook the bacon until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
3. Cook the Eggs:
Melt butter in a non-stick pan over low heat.
Crack the eggs into the pan and cook sunny-side up until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny (about 2 minutes).
Season with salt and black pepper.
4. Prepare the Sides (Optional):
Heat baked beans in a small saucepan.
Grill the tomato halves and sauté the mushrooms in butter.
Toast the bread until golden brown.
5. Assemble & Serve:
Arrange the steak, sausages, bacon, and eggs on a plate.
